This post features student writing.

Hola! Today was a crazy day! We started the day off with a nice breakfast of croissants, coffee, eggs, and bananas. We loaded our overnight bags onto the bus, and began our journey toward Lake Cuicocha for a hike. However, the hike did not go as planned, as our original route was too long, so we had to change direction. It was super hard, but ended up being a ton of fun as we got to know each other even more. Despite being caught in a rainstorm on the way down, the hike was a success! We then proceeded to have lunch followed by a very windy two-hour bus ride to the Intag region. We arrived at a beautiful hostel and we have been here, having fun, ever since!
